  • Yes, if you look at it in that way they did what they had to do for the country and the world, but there is a trend for crypto to go from hashing to staking making the validation of transactions use a lot less energy.

    • ties in with their crypto bitcoin ban as bitcoin uses massive amounts of energy.
      If all of that energy was generated by coal the soaring health costs can only be imagined
      and you are right they should move to renewable energy or staking validation that doesn’t use a significant amount of energy
