This is brought as though the most people in the regulated market of NYC are older white people.
Most people who are non-white and live in Manhattan are mostly living in regulated housing.
Seems like a veiled attack on housing regulation using an “unpopular” demographic.
The fact is that all demographics need “regulated” housing. Regulation was only introduced and expanded due to Landlord abuses of vulnerable tenants.
